Jason Dunstall Biography

Jason Dunstall will become the 32nd Legend inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame.

"It's an incredible privilege. I feel very humbled, almost to the point of embarrassment," the 59-year-old told reporters.

"When you consider there's just a tick over 30 Legends in the game, it's the highest honour you can imagine.

"I feel incredibly grateful to the AFL. It's been a massive part of my life and to sit amongst names that are synonymous with the game now is incredibly humbling."

Reports surface that Adelaide players have questioned the merit of two media figures in Jason Dunstall and Matthew Pavlich forming part of the committee to conduct an external review of the club.

It has prompted players to consider how much information they divulge throughout interviews in the possibility certain details may be aired through non-Crows parties.

If the players choose to answer questions openly, some will allegedly be critical of assistant coach Scott Camporeale and head of football Brett Burton.

Jason Dunstall is named as a legend of the Queensland Sports Hall of Fame, becoming just the 17th athlete to receive the honour and the first from the AFL.

Hawthorn elevates Jason Dunstall to legend status, becoming only the seventh person honoured with the legend tag.

Hawthorn announces 1991 premiership player Andrew Gowers as its new football director, replacing Jason Dunstall.

Dunstall will retire from the club's board early in 2014 after nine years in the role.
