Connor O'Sullivan is living out his dreams as Geelong prepares for a Grand Final.

"I've been so nervous through the finals series, had the leg shakes and everything. But by the time I got here, I settled down and soaked it all in," O'Sullivan said in the rooms after the Cats' 30-point preliminary final victory over Hawthorn.

"There was a moment late in the game when 'Jezza' (Jeremy Cameron) pumped the ball out of 50, and looked at me, and it was just, 'we've won this'.

"The roar when the anthem finished - I've grown up watching finals, to experience it myself is something else."

Connor O'Sullivan signs a two-year contract to remain at Geelong until the end of 2028.

Connor O'Sullivan is nominated as the Telstra AFL Rising Star for round two of 2025 after an impressive display against St Kilda.

The tall defender had 15 disposals, seven marks and nine intercept possessions in the defeat.

Connor O'Sullivan makes his AFL debut for Geelong at Kardinia Park with 11 disposals (3 kicks and 8 handballs), 3 marks and a tackle in a 75-point win over North Melbourne.
