Tylar Young has landed at West Coast, with the Eagles giving up pick 38 for the defender.

"Tylar is a strong-bodied and mature key defender who our coach Andrew McQualter knows well from their time together. With his size and stature, he is capable of competing against the AFL's power forwards and he will complement our existing defensive stocks," Eagles list manager Matt Clarke said.

Tylar Young requests a trade from Richmond to West Coast.

Young played seven games for the Tigers in 2025, for a total of 35 in the past three years at Richmond after arriving as a pre-season supplemental selection period signing ahead of the 2023 season.
