Draft Report: The brother of breakout Swan Chad, Warner is a balanced midfielder, who boasts a damaging left-foot and game-breaking running ability. He may not as strong on the inside as his older sibling, but Warner has more weapons on the outside. After forcing his way into East Fremantle's League side, following a consistent season at Colts level, Warner confirmed his outstanding athletic traits at the draft combine. Nationally, Warner recorded the highest standing vertical jump, the sixth-fastest time in 2km time trial and he was the eighth-fastest in the 20m sprint. He's hard to stop when on the attack, and he consistently drives the ball forward but Warner lacks finesse by foot at this stage.
