Trent Bianco Biography

Trent Bianco is confident he can find a new AFL home after being axed by the Magpies.

"There's a little bit of interest out there. I just want to be on an AFL list again. I'm more hungry than ever and I feel like I have so much more to give," he said.

"I thought I played some really good footy this year in the VFL, but the (senior) team was just so hard to break into."

The Magpies delist five players including Trent Bianco, Trey Ruscoe, Tom Wilson, Arlo Draper and Cooper Murley.

"Decision-making at this time of the year is always tough and we thank each of the players for their contribution to the Collingwood Football Club," Magpies general manager of football Graham Wright said.

"Trent, Trey, Tom, Arlo and Cooper have all played an important role in this year's success and that has not gone unrecognised. We thank them for their dedication to our football program."

Trent Bianco makes his AFL debut for Collingwood at the MCG with 19 disposals (11 kicks and 8 handballs), 3 marks and 3 tackles in a 10-point loss to Geelong.

Trent Bianco achieved a childhood dream after being drafted by his beloved Collingwood.

"It doesn't feel real at the moment. I dreamed of it growing up, but I never thought it was going to happen," Bianco said.
