Port Adelaide delists Martin Frederick after 14 games for the Power.

"After four years on our list, Marty was unable to establish himself as a consistent performer within our AFL team and we have had to make the difficult decision not to offer him a contract moving forward," Port list manager Jason Cripps said.

Martin Frederick makes his AFL debut for Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval with 23 disposals (8 kicks and 15 handballs), 6 marks and a tackle in a 54-point win over St Kilda.

Port Adelaide signs Martin Frederick as a Category B rookie through their Next Generation Academy.

"I'm a bit flashy, love to run and carry, a dummy here and there, but I'm real hard at it and love to compete," Frederick said.

"I remember getting an Auskick bag in 2006, had Daniel Motlop on there, David Rodan, and I think that's what started my flashiness.

"Just watching David Rodan sell a bit of candy here and there and Daniel Motlop (kick goals) from the pocket every now and then and I think it's just grown from there."
