Switkowski was tested for COVID-19 after coming down with flu-like symptoms following contact with a friend who had been to China. After being cleared, he revealed he was out and about on his Instagram story and that he could return to training soon.
"Sam's relieved, and feeling quite well. In reality, it's been proven to be a cold, and something that isn't overly dramatic," Fremantle chief executive Simon Garlick said.
