Gold Coast appoint former Richmond and Fremantle player Ashley Prescott as development coach.

"We are really pleased to add a person of Ashley's experience and character to the club," Suns football manager Marcus Ashcroft said.

"He brings a wealth of knowledge having played and coached at the elite level for over 20 years."

Former Essendon assistant coach Ashley Prescott has been appointed as a development coach with Fremantle.

Assistant coaches Scott Camporeale and Ashley Prescott will resign from their positions with Essendon at the end of the 2010 season.

"Scott and Ash have been integral to the development of our young group and we are grateful for the role they have played over the past three years," Essendon coach Matthew Knights said.

"We understand that both of the guys are raising young families and it is important that they do what is best for them."
