assistant coach Adrian Fletcher has thrown his hat into the ring for the Richmond coaching position.
"I've been an assistant for seven years," Fletcher said.
"There's a time in your life when you've got to start putting your name out there to make sure that people understand where you want to go in life.
"I want to be a senior coach, no doubt about that. I've learned off three coaches, Mick Malthouse, Bomber Thompson and Leigh Matthews, who have seven premierships, so although I'm not a premiership player I've been in the coaching arena where I understand how it works."

assistant coach Adrian Fletcher has hailed AFL moves to clamp down on off-the-ball harassment.
"Defenders going beyond the rules is unsettling to my players," Fletcher said.
"If you get belted in the ribs consistently and your kidneys, can you imagine by the end of the game.
"Niggling is fine but when it's a full blow to your lower kidney, what can you do about it? Do you retaliate or do you run off the ground?"
