Luke Strnadica Biography

Luke Strnadica parts ways with the Eagles for personal reasons.

Picked up in the Supplemental Selection Period ahead of the 2022 season, Strnadica played in rounds six and seven before entering the League's health and safety protocols, then suffering a calf injury.

Luke Strnadica makes his AFL debut for West Coast at Adelaide Oval with 11 disposals (7 kicks and 4 handballs), 3 marks, 3 tackles and 9 hitouts in an 84-point loss to Port Adelaide.

West coast adds three new players to its list ahead of the 2022 season, signing former Docker Luke Strnadica, ex-Lion Tom Joyce and hard-running former Tiger Patrick Naish.

"We have obviously received an unusually high number of long-term injuries in the last few weeks and we needed to navigate a way through that to offer greater depth in a number of areas," list and recruiting manager Rohan O'Brien said.

"That also means we are able to provide opportunities for Luke Strnadica, Tom Joyce and Patrick Naish which is exciting. All three have been most impressive through this period with both their attitude and application and it is great to offer them another chance."
