Cameron Polson Biography

Wednesday, 18 November 2020
Carlton delists Harrison Macreadie, Callum Moore, Cam Polson and Fraser Phillips.

"It has been an incredibly difficult period for these out-of-contract players but Harrison, Cameron, Fraser and Callum have been terrific with how they have handled the situation, which is a real credit to them," Carlton's football boss Brad Lloyd said.

"Their contributions to the club, not only as Carlton players but as Carlton people, were certainly valued. All four of them are quality people who really helped to create the sense of unity felt amongst the playing group this year, especially during the months spent together in the hub.

"We thank each of them for their hard work and dedication at Carlton."

Cameron Polson signs a new deal with Carlton that will keep him at the club until the end of 2020.

“Cam’s contract extension is well earned and a direct result of his hard work,” Carlton head of football Andrew McKay said.

“Since arriving at Carlton he has been determined to improve all aspects of his game and learn as much as he can from his teammates, which speaks volumes about his character."

Friday, 21 April 2017
Cameron Polson makes his AFL debut for Carlton at Adelaide Oval with 11 disposals (3 kicks and 8 handballs) and 2 tackles in a 90-point loss to Port Adelaide.
Friday, 25 November 2016
Carlton select Cameron Polson with pick No.59 in the 2016 National Draft.

"Cam only played a couple of games early and dislocated his shoulder, but we think he's going to be a very good player," Carlton list manager Stephen Silvagni said.

"He's a 184cm midfielder, who captained Haileybury College and played at the Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup. He did a sub-three-second 20m sprint at the Combine."
