Port Adelaide delists Jack Trengove as well as rookies Cam Hewett and Kai Pudney.

"Jack, Cam and Kai have each represented our club with pride and professionalism," Port Adelaide's general manager of football Chris Davies said.

"But we have reached the time of the year when the club needs to make difficult decisions about the future of our playing list.

"Each of the players have been popular and hardworking members of our group and we wish them well for their individual futures."

Port Adelaide select Cameron Hewett with pick No.26 in the 2018 Rookie Draft.

“We think Cam deserves another chance on our rookie list,” Port Adelaide recruiting manager Geoff Parker.

“He had a very good pre-season last year before getting injured on the eve of the season. Cam never got going this year because of injury so we are keen to give him an opportunity to have a full pre-season to give him every chance to prove himself in 2019.”

Cameron Hewett is delisted by Port Adelaide but the club has committed to re-drafting him as a rookie.

"Cam is a talented footballer and we have seen glimpses of what he can do in the SANFL," Power general manager of football Chris Davies said.

"The challenge for him is to get his body right and take his game up a level in 2019, and we are willing to offer him that opportunity."
