Nicholas Graham Biography

Tuesday, 17 October 2017
Nick Graham is yet to be offered a new contract but is hopeful of remaining with the Blues, even if it means a demotion to the club's rookie list.

Graham, 23, has played 38 games in five seasons, including 10 in four stints this year, and has so far been unable to transfer his superb VFL form into consistent performance at AFL level.

"At VFL level he's a really, really good player it's probably taking the next step to AFL footy that's his challenge at the moment," Graham's manager Matt Bain said.

"It's hard to watch him at VFL level and dominating so much and not get a game for Carlton with their midfield depth.

"For him it's just got to be head down and work even harder, and hopefully crack in next year."

Tuesday, 1 August 2017
Nick Graham will be unavailable for two matches after he failed to overturn a rough conduct charge at the VFL Tribunal.

Graham was charged for engaging in rough conduct against Geelong player James Tsitas during the clash between the Northern Blues and Geelong at Ikon Park.

Dylan Buckley and Nick Graham will play on at Carlton in 2017 after signing one-year deals with the club.

"Both Dylan and Nick have a strong work ethic and a continual desire to improve their game, which they've displayed since arriving at the club," Carlton's head of football Andrew McKay said.

"They're team players who are well respected around the club, and every time they run out in the navy blue jumper you know they're going to give their all."

Thursday, 4 September 2014
Nick Graham recommits to the Blues until the end of 2016.

"Nick has shown great potential and demonstrated his ability to be a ball-winner in the midfield," Carlton football manager Andrew McKay said.

"We believe [he] will play key roles in our team going forward."
