Thursday, 29 November 2007

Marlon Motlop says having familiar faces at Port Adelaide, including his cousin Daniel, will benefit his development at his new club.

"Having Daniel here makes it a bit easier to fit in and to become comfortable," he said.

"I've also got my brother Thomas playing for North Adelaide and living down here so that helps as well."

Daniel Motlop agreed with Marlon's assessment adding that there were a few more family members in Darwin who could join the ranks soon.

"When I went to North Melbourne my older brother Shannon was there too and it does help. Hopefully we can get some more Motlops here, too," Daniel said.
