"Colbie's an outstanding young man and he's really got to decide if he wants to go full-time into football. That's what he's weighing up at the moment and I'm confident that if he does decide that football's the way to go that we'll have a great acquisition to the football club," Eagles coach John Worsfold said.
"I've got a commercial pilot's licence. I've been flying for 10 years, so I've got to either decide that I want to make a career out of flying or go into a coaching role, or continue to be involved in the media. At the moment it's really just having a chat to see where I'm at," Colbert said.
Colbert later rejects the offer from West Coast.
