Michael Pettigrew Biography

It has bee a long time coming, but Port Adelaide's Michael Pettigrew has finally reached the 100-game milestone after struggling with injury and form in 2009 and 2010.

"It's taken a long time to get the next 10, to get off 90 [games] and finally reach the 100-game milestone," Pettigrew said.

"It's been a real challenge. I've had a lot of injuries and poor form to go along with that. It's been a long couple of years, but hopefully it's all behind me now."

Port Adelaide has re-signed Danyle Pearce, Warren Tredrea, Michael Pettigrew, Tom Logan and Matthew Lobbe to new deals.

"From a personal point of view I was satisfied with my form and fitness this year and I can't wait to start pre-season and build towards 2010," Tredrea said.

"I'm also looking forward to helping with the development our young players, who really are the core of our playing group now."
