Bernie Vince on the Crows youngsters playing in the middle:
"We'll definitely take some confidence out of that win over West Coast, especially us young fellas after getting a chance to play in the middle. When each week comes around, we're all really excited to be in the midfield and hopefully we can do our job each week."
Bernie Vince on Simon Goodwin kicking 7 goals:
"Goody was on fire and I just loved being out there watching him. He's a gun. In my time at the club, I don't think I've seen him play a bad game, to be honest and hopefully he can carry that form through to next week and for most of the year."
Graham Johncock on the Crows' forward line:
"There has been a lot of scrutiny about where our goals are going to come from this year and where we're at as a forward line, so to come out and kick 20 goals today really says something. Everybody is contributing and everybody is playing their roles, so hopefully we can continue that throughout the season."
Graham Johncock on the younger players covering for injuries:
"There are always going to be injuries and there is a big emphasis on players coming in being able to play their roles. We don't want to put too much pressure on the young guys, but they have been able to come in and do their bit. Our depth is something that has been criticised, so it's good for those guys to be able to perform today and prove a few people wrong."
Graham Johncock on playing four consistent quarters against West Coast:
"At quarter time it was mentioned that we had to go hard for another quarter and the same was said again at half time and three-quarter time. Craigy really drummed it into our heads that we needed to play four solid quarters and we ended up playing very well in that last quarter and kicking away."
Neil Craig on getting the balance between offense and defence right:
"Last week there was a lot of talk about how good our attack was, even though we lost the game, but also as a club we thought we lost balance. Today I'm suggesting to the people who saw the game that we're back in balance and that's the sort of thing we will keep trying to do. From a team perspective it was just fantastic."
Neil Craig on what pleased him about the game:
"Just the way our junior, inexperienced players played, also the way our senior guys went about our business and, of course, the way our midfield was able to handle a pretty good midfield from West Coast. It was a good day for us."
Neil Craig on rectifying Adelaide's poor record against the Eagles:
"Our record against West Coast, I think, was one out of eight and now it's two out of nine, so its still a long way out, but I was really pleased with the way our young guys went about it. It's great for the younger guys to be part of our club and to hopefully start to set that record straight."
Tyson Stenglein on the team playing poorly:
"Today at times we just weren't playing smart footy. I don't think we were in the game most of the day. We just didn't play to our strengths, drawing them up and hitting short targets, which has been pretty successful in the past. They had numbers back and we were kicking it to them and missing short targets."
Tyson Stenglein on the last quarter:
"We thought at three quarter time we had a bit of momentum. They got the first few and really just blew the game out. It was really disappointing how we finished off."
John Worsfold on the Eagles' poor ball use and decision making:
"Even in that last five minutes we kicked it over Ash Hansen's head when he was in space two or three times, which is unacceptable at this level. The players have got to take more responsibility for the way they use the ball, there's no doubt about that."
John Worsfold on the Crows defence:
"They ran the ball out too easily. We conceded space too easily and we had individual players who didn't work hard enough to make them more accountable. We were certainly disappointed early that they managed to get players in a lot of space."
John Worsfold on Brad Ebert's first game:
"It was a tough initiation in a game where you get beaten like that, but Brad showed the traits that we know he's got. To get that game into him was a bonus, and it's the start of what will hopefully be a very successful career for him."
John Worsfold on Chris Masten's first AFL game:
"He was pretty exciting as well. He showed in glimpses how he's pretty hard at it and not going to back away from any contest."
