Paul Roos on Henry Playfair playing his first game as a Swan:
"We're not expecting any miracles just a real competitive performance. I've got no doubt he's got AFL talent, it's just a matter of opportunity and making sure expectations aren't too high initially."
Peter Everitt on returning to the side from injury:
"It's exciting. I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face for the last week. I am a little bit older than others, they had to give it a little more time. I tried to run after 10 weeks but it still wasn't right, so they had to give it a couple of weeks and I'm fine now."
Paul Roos on Nick Davis being dropped from the side again:
"He is a bit down in confidence. The issue with those pressure things, a lot does come with confidence, and I think missing those early goals which he normally kicks. He has to get some confidence back and build himself up as a real quality player that we know he is."
Rodney Eade on playing the Swans:
"They're one of the most disciplined sides in the competition, they certainly work hard for each other and work hard when they haven't got the footy. So we don't come here with delusions of grandeur that we're going to kick 18 to 20 goals as we have in the past six games. We're just hoping to kick one more goal than them."
Rodney Eade on Sydney playing without Barry Hall:
"Any team's going to lose key players at certain times. It's about how teams cope with it. Teams are built around a collective unit rather than individuals."
Matthew Boyd on being a more physical side compared to previous years:
"We're near the top for contested ball, which is a real positive for us. We've been seen as a more outside running side, so if we can add that part to our game it's a real positive for us."
Rodney Eade on the challenge of playing the Swans:
"The fact that we haven't beaten Sydney for a while and that it's on their home ground is going to be a big test for us."
Rodney Eade on playing the Swans at the SCG:
"I suppose having coached there a bit I understand what the ground's like. But as we know with Sydney it's going to be a very contested game, and that's an area we've focused on over the summer. Obviously we're going okay at the moment and hopefully that's still the situation on Sunday."
