John Worsfold on Chris Judd only being part of the past:
"Chris Judd is history at our footy club, and I am concentrating on the great group of players we have got here moving forward. The only time he is going to impact on this footy club is when we are playing against the team he is playing for, and we will do our best to minimise the influence he has on our footy club in those games."
John Worsfold on the Eagles midfield with Daniel Kerr out through suspension:
"It'll be a different mix again this week, obviously, and sometimes releasing the shackles can help, youth can help with that, so we'll have a good look at all those things. Our midfield, potentially, will have a very different look about it than it has in the past, but we're confident it will give us that run."
David Wirrpanda on playing against ex-teammate Chris Judd:
"In the position we're at now, you probably don't think too much about that kind of stuff. But from a friendship point of view, Juddy's got a lot of friends at West Coast and to see him, and obviously he's one of the best players going around, will be interesting whether you're a West Coast or Carlton fan."
Daniel Kerr on whether the West Coast crowd will boo or cheer Chris Judd:
"He was a great servant of the club and he really did do everything in his power for us to win games of footy and he was a great leader, so I hope they don't boo him. He is a premiership captain and he really did serve us well."
John Worsfold on Chris Judd leaving West Coast for Carlton:
"There's certainly no point sooking about the 'go home' factor with Chris. After all, Tyson Stenglein went to Adelaide and eventually wanted to come home and so did Daniel Chick and those players helped us win a premiership, so you can't take with the one hand and then complain about the other."
John Worsfold on Chris Judd leaving West Coast for Carlton:
"He'll always play an important part in the history of our club and I have heard him say if West Coast was based in Melbourne, he would have been a West Coast player for his whole career. How do I describe it? It was like saying goodbye to a close friend. That's how it was."
Nick Stevens on the media attention on Chris Judd returning to Perth:
"It is obviously a tough one for Juddy, but to see the way the guys handles it, he just takes everything in his stride. He is so professional in the way he conducts himself. It is great for the young guys to see someone under that media pressure, the way he conducts himself and goes about his footy."
Nick Stevens on whether the West Coast crowd will boo Chris Judd:
"I think they will boo him, everyone who leaves a club has to go through that, and he is expecting that as well. But deep down everyone will also respect Chris Judd, knows what he did, and once the final siren has gone everyone will give him a good reception."
Brett Ratten on being competitive in the ruck:
"The clearances got away from us in the last quarter (against the Crows). Griffin got his hands on the ball first and really set them up. Whether Cox plays or not, we'll have to do something about it."
Brett Ratten on playing West Coast in Perth:
"Our boys know exactly where we sit and when a team like that have got their backs to the wall we better watch out. We're going over to play them at their home ground, which is a huge advantage for them, like most home teams when you travel interstate."
Brett Ratten on Chris Judd playing against his former side:
"Former teammates will probably get into him, give him a mouthful. But we'll support Chris 100 per cent like all the other players and we'll make sure he has a good return back to Perth. The service he has given to the West Coast football club and the respect and what he has done over there, I would hope they would cheer him and not boo him."
Brett Ratten on playing an undermanned Eagles side:
"They are a very proud club, the Eagles, and history show they are a powerful club. They've got a lot of pride and they'll come out swinging. I think both teams will be pretty aggressive this week and it's a real chance to get the points for both teams so I think the game will be played very physically. I'm not worrying about trying to smack the Eagles, I'm trying to get a victory so I'll take one point."
Brett Ratten on not having won a last quarter this season:
"I don't think they're a big issue. I think at the start of the year we might have been underdone a little bit in rounds one and two from that point of view, but I think we're fit enough."
Chris Judd on whether the West Coast crowd will boo or cheer him:
"If they want to boo they can boo and if they want to cheer they can cheer. I will be over there to play a role for the Blues and hopefully get the four points."
