It was a great match. We had such good run out of the centre and we kicked very accurately. Let's keep it up =D

Umpires should be shot as per normal, again we got a raw deal like the St Kilda match!!!!!

I wasn't sure about Matthew Knights, but boy did he win me yesterday. Rather exciting that he knows the younger guy's strength from Bendigo Bombers. Only first round but I am hungry for more.

Yeah great win dons, keep it up. Real pity about lucas though, he was in rare form and he'll be missed.

Definitely a fantastic win, was a bit slow to start off with some really average frees paid against us. But we definitely picked up our game and got some momentum & just played as a team! Great to see McVeigh lead the charge and get them going, Lloyd was fantastic with a bag of 6 goals & his leading and marking were great! Lovett-Murray also great with 4 goals, much needed after the Lucas injury. Also great efforts by young players Slattery, Dempsey & Houli. Houli gained the 1st centre clerance of the match and then cleaned up across half back later on in the game. Dempsey keep running all match & gained positive possessions because of it. Slattery put his body on the line to win the ball which was great to see, some hard ball gets from younger players! Great work Bombers, keep it up!!!

I think it was a good win to start the season off with, sucks about Lucas out for 12 butt lloydy just has to go for it and hopefully not get injured.Lovett murry kicking 4 help us alot if he can domintate like that it would help a s**t load.

Well I got McVeigh right in being a dominant player!! And I'm really happy Lloydy kicked 6 - that's a great result and hopefully he can keep playing as well as he did today!!!

I don't even know the playing list yet!

I see no reason not to expect a win, though Essendon v Kangaroos matches have always been very tough..

I think Lucas will be the highest scorer and McPhee / Stanton / Watson will fight it out for most possessions!
