Can Lloyd just stay at FF?
Seriously? He's the best goalkicker we have, and a top mark.. If he's fit and plays well all year he should be able to kick another 90 odd goals from FF.. Goals we're going to need to win games... We don't really need him to be a midfielder, surely? He should just do what he does best!

i think lloyd should stay as a FF

hes the best goal kicker on the essendon team.
i think it would be stupid to change him.

(:

yeah I dunno mate. Luckily while lloydys been injured that Scott Lucas has stepped up to be a more potent forward than lloydy in recent times.

Cant say ive ever heard of Lloyd being touted as a midfielder... not even kevin sheedy would of swung him out of position.

If Lloyd wants to kick a 100 goals all he has to do is pull out the year 99 and 2000 highlights and look at the way he lead to the right positions, and at the right time.

FORGET ABOUT DIVING
and trying to out muscle every player at every contest.

I must admit the skill level at the time he was kicking 100 a season was awesome... but he was younger, more agile and wanted to lead and mark.

this year he can easily kick75+ just has to go back to basics.

sorry mate i missd the whole point! in saying what i did of the midfield i think thats why matt hasnt been leading as much because he hasnt been getting hit lace out its been maybe 2 out of 10 times he gets hit on a lead other times when his on a lead the kick is to long to short or takes to long to get in allowing defenders to double him or grapple

gday nick before i start id like to say i love the dons supported them since i can rember nearly 22 yrs.

simply put our midfield has been nothing short of **** the past 2-3 years baring the odd good team game or one out digs from a player.

i personaly think they lack a bit of heart, balls and passion at the moment.
i think knightts needs to forget about trying to create a midfield full of brownlow contenders or all australian candidates and just get the boys to fire up some one says the wrong thing to a mate hunt in packs swamp him get in a dust up get suspended for a game or two bugger the new rule u go up for a mark out of possision crunch the player put the whole of the afl on notice that the bombers are back and if u have the balls step up. anyways thats just my thinking

i second that but he needs to regain the selfishness and forget about doing the team thing when he is anywher within the 55m range unless ther is some one 20 out directly in front. i commented on the make ur best side blog about this also
