you guys are all dreaming if you think one of our boys can win a brownlow.... for starters Didak, no way in hell is an umpire giving him votes, he gets too firey.... but as far as anyone else getting enough votes to poll a brownlow victory, no chance in hell. We play too much as a team and have no one that stands out enough as a LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME player... who gives a stuff about a best and fairest!!!! GIVE ME THE GRAND FINAL CUP any day of teh year. GO PIES!!! and just off topic a little, the Bombers were disgraced today by an inform Medhurst, Cloke, Pendles and R.Shaw...... Go the mighty Black and White.

OMG!! I love Collingwood and all 3 of them show enormous talent, but a Brownlow in 2 years?!?!? Youre kidding yourself! Tony Liberatore has more chance of keeping his Brownlow Medal from his wife than those 3 have of winning one in 2 years lol Id like to see it dont get me wrong, but no i dont think so..

Pendlebury is a definate chance, Didak mayby in 5 and Swan, his disposal lets him down to much. Thanks

Swanny is a good chance, Alan Didak is too naughty and Scotty is a bit down on form this year, maybe when he is older. But Swanny is my pick - just look at last year!!!

He's my fave, but no browlow for my boy Alan. He fires up so quickly one day hes likely to deck an opposion supporter or player (which incidentally makes him the BEST player to watch!!!!) also his personal life gets him into strife. Maybe in a few years if he settles down and concentrates on a leadership role at the club...thats a big maybe.

Swaney is my favourite player, he is always racking up the big disposals, handballs etc. I like the fact that he CAN be under the radar but also when he plays hot, u can't help but notice him. I agree with Craig dids is great but suspensions will be a problem. Penders is a natural superstar.

ok, didak is good and talented but he has a tendency to have a rush of blood and do something regrettable. suspension is highly likely for dids. swan is a very good player, deceptively quick and an amazing ball magnet, but i think he slips under the radar a bit in matches and u dont realise how much of the ball he has got until u check the stat sheet, so nto sure whether he wud get enough attention from the umpires. the bet definitely has to be on pendles. his class in the midfield is inspiring already and this is only his 3rd year! he attratcs alot of attention too bc he sneaks forward and bags a couple regularly and he's so elusive in the middle u jus have to watch in awe. the umpires cant overlook him for too long..pendles for brownlow 2009!

Don't know about 'slipping under the radar' - look how many votes he got last year!

This year I put a bet on Dane Swan to win Brownlow into Collingwood to win premiership and got 510 to 1 odds (on $10 that $5,100). Round one and Swan had 27 touches and was probably BOG. Will this happen, unlikely ! Though the odds were great so u take the bet. My prediction this year is Geelong to win again and Daniel Kerr to take Brownlow. Swan will do well though he's probably not quite a contender yet.

Definately Pendlebury!! His ball skills are amazing and he is and will forever be a top player.
Jessica from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 15 Mar 2008 15:44hide comment
Pendles for sure but i reckon give it mabey 4 years

As much as I would love to see it I don't think any of them will win a Brownlow.
Jonathan from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 21 Feb 2008 11:34hide comment
Didak will never win a Brownlow. He's mercurial but he's not a major ball magnet or a game turner.

Dane Swan would have to make more of a noticeable impact on the game to win a Brownlow. He definitely finds enough of the ball.

Scott Pendlebury is probably the most likely to claim the prize, but not in the next two years.

Martin from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 20 Feb 2008 14:55hide comment
I reckon it'll be Pendles who does it.
Daniel from Adelaide (Magpies supporter), 20 Feb 2008 14:05hide comment
Pendles out of any of them would but i dont think any of them will get one that quickly.
