lol i dont think putting someone out of the team for a week will increase their kicking accuracy.
he has got an innate problem with his drop of the ball. People who have trouble dropping the ball are the ones that have a lot of clangers, like Cloke, who will often completely miss que a kick missing everything. That's not innaccuracy.
Innaccuracy is typically a high behind to goal count normally derived from technique problems such as follow through and run up.
As a former player, I was very accurate with my kicks in field play on the run and what not. However, in a set shot position I was absolutely horrible as my hands simply were not big enough to support the ball in order for me to drop it straight.
Cloke has this problem at the start of his career, that's why he took his set shots abit like buddy, almost playing on and kicking the ball as you would in regular play.
He's had an abundance of specialists look at him and he's adjusted his grip with the dominant hand lower now. This is common practice for many people with the same problem. I think the stiff arms may be an instruction but all in all its not working. Because he's being forced to take it as a set shot, he's still messing up the drop which is the clanger problem. When he does get it right, his accuracy still isn't the best but it's damn well decent enough. I think let him go back to a more natural on the run technique and just try to perfect that so that it reduces innaccuracy, while avoiding the clangers.
And can I just say, WHO SAID HE'S NOT VERY GOOD IN A MARKING CONTEST?! that's what makes him so damn good. He's great in contest, good strong hands, most people forget that he's often playing against the oppositions best defenders who are typically older than him with more experience. He doesn't take that many pack marks I guess, but that's not his primary role. Lay off you noob.
