Dale Thomas we all know he is a star but to play his best footy he needs a rest.
Dale Thomas is an outright star and he proved it last night being the match winner and in my view best on ground.

Thomas after the week off really showed that that break really helped him get back his energy and when he has the energy he displayed last night against sydney he well and truely plays his best footy.

The key to getting the maximum out of Dale Thomas I think is giving him a rest every 3,4 or 5 weeks. This way he doesn't get fatigued as I think he has been a bit this season not really being able to play his best footy.

Daisy certainly needs another break just before the finals to rest him up.
This also means that another player eg. Brett Macaffer who has been in our reserves side might get a chance to show that he can play footy at AFL level and just get a chance to play.

This would oviously be most preferable against a bottom side such as a West Coast, Freemantle or Melbourne but none the less an idea well worth considering.

Thoughts?

Thomas having a break isn't such a good idea. As a player he just loves to get a kick, to deny him that would mean an unhappy player who would more than likely look for another club.

Probably a week or 2 before finals would be best for Thomas to have a rest

Just the idea of Dale Thomas comming fresh into the finals with the energy he showed last night is an incredible idea.
