Look for Macaffer to debut
he in the past 3 weeks has got:
4 goals
4 goals
5 goals
Also John Anthony might be a solid choice to recal to place in the forward line with the clear gap there.
He is better as a forward than a backman I recon.

Be great If Macaffer got to debut 4 the Pies but i cant see it happening with Leon & Cloke back this week but i dont think he'll be far off having a crack tho...go Pies !

I must agree, he shouldn't debut tomorrow in the "must win" to keep our top 4 chances alive.
Perhaps round 17 against Essendon would be a good one on the big stage. By then we probably need to put some fresh legs in.
Also Brodie Holland and Ryan Lonie will be working their way back into form so hopefully before finals they start to put pressure on the selecters to keep the regulars honest.

macaffer has talent and will be a gun. Coll need to elevate him from rookie list before he gets a game. Coll need to keep macaffer, dawes and anthony in the forward line as they will be detrimental to the side in the next 10 yrs. As for lonie, he is finished, soft player, always has been, coll should delist him as we don't need him anymore.

I agree about the young talent, Anthony dropped a few grabs on the weekend but usualy pretty strong overhead and will play better with more games. Dawes isn't ready to debut yet but will hopefully turn into a Rocca type player with time.

As for Lonie it looks like his end unfortunately. A few years back he was incredible his run from the backline and his incredibly long kick was great. He has been pleagued with injury last season and this season and through that hasn't had chance to really get a spot. He isn't a renound tackler in our high presuure high intensity side but if he were fully fit he would be top 22 material and would be an asset with his run out of defence with Heath Shaw's run being restricted by opposition tagers.

John Anthony dropped a few marks on the weekend but usually has strong hands and should probably still be considered for a few more games this year.
Macaffer is good!
