Rusling - Another go or cut our losses?
We seem to have a lot of faith in him - but is he worth another go? I don't really think he's going to be as good as the hype around him seems to think anyway. Also his fitness could see him become another Lee Walker, constantly breaking down. Thoughts?

give him another go for sure still young..i would hate to see him go and play well at another club..he kicks very well at goal..he very fast on lead and jumps very high..rocca neally gone..rus can help cloke out while reid dawes brown progress in 2nds..he hasnt played much footy but seem to add great strengh and structure to forward line..i think he can be great..give him time..ace in the back that other sides hav forgotten about..

I must disagree about his kicking at goal! He is no better in that regard as a Tarrant or Rocca! But otherwise everything else you said is 100% correct He is a great young player and with a bit of luck will become a star full forward and with Rocca nearing his end he is vital for our forwardline in future seasons.

I really believe he is the future of our forward line. He has shown glimpses of how good he can be but unfortunately I think he is another Tangles. Give him one more shot. Go Rusling

I agree with you bec, his awesome shame about the injuries... I think one more chance too and i pray he doesn't get injuired again... He with no injuries will be the backbone of our forward...

Go Pies... :-)

Spot on girls...
His talent deserves another chance (what is his contract status anyway?).
If he was chopped off the list well there would be a few clubs rubbing their hands with glee. Another injury and clubs would be wary. So why even consider it? With his talent he could go to another club and become a force.
At Collingwood we don't make those silly mistakes Freo and recently North have.

must keep him, has enormous talent and the latest shoulder injury had nothing to do with previous ones. Anyone who copped that hit would have had a reco

Last season he was injured and came back in time for finals footy. He played incredibly well for someone who hasn't played the entire season and playing injured. He has incredible speed and really isn's one we should be getting rid of! Give him a chance and hope he fully recovers next season and hope he can take over as our new full forward
