big brother says its time to go.....
Anthony Rocca. I think anthony rocca is getting to old and the injuries are taking to long for him to recover from we have alot of young forwards ahead of us.And why is it that collingwood alway lose to carlton.

we need him more than ever for this weekends game against the bulldogs, just shows that he is still so important to the magpies. Travis' suspension came at a good time because I really think he needs a rest and Big Pebbles needs to step up and do a big job for us.

had rocca had playd the blues we might hav won he takes best defender every week they should play him half forward flank.get him having shots at 50 and not blocking it up

The game is getting fast at such a pace that he can't keep up. This season he still is top 22 material for us, but after this season can't see him making it. Hope he does to america and plays with his brother and goes out on his terms rather than the clubs terms. WOuld be a happier way to finish.

Yeah, he is a big kick and the would get the AFL on the map over there which would be great. Jimmy Clement also, going out on the top of his game he still had some more years in him, but great for them to go our a champion and be remembered as such. Better than being like Tony Lockett and comming back and being rubbish and just after an incredible carrear looking like a dud on his return.

So retiring at the end of this season in my view is in Rocca's best interest and I don't want us getting rid of any of our young players and with this being the last FULL draft year we really need to get as much young tallent as we can to guarantee we are strong for future years.

Also Burns, Wakelin, Prestigicomo could all do the same. Burns and Wakelin have been great and getting on in years both probably in just about carrear best form but would be nice for them also to go out on a high.

Always would be good guys to keep around the club for assistant positions and stuff. Burns might make a good senior coach 1 day I recon

As for Rocca I don't believe it is injury that is our only concern. With or without injury Rocca is low on form. He lacks speed and agility that most forwards these days have plenty of, and its time to get rid of him. I said it last season as well. Time to go............. Rocca lol As for losing to Carlton, what can I say? Im shattered!
