now the real birtrhday day for our club occured a little bit earlier at the darling grace hotel in nth fitzroy on the 11th of march 1892 that was the day of formation of our great club.
seems our clubs website was out by a couple of months.
i am part historian i have the collingwood encyclopedia at home to back me up and it is what all players who come to our club receive so they can learn more about our history.
so history stands corrected i needed to clear that up cos' i was a little annnoyed they mucked it up on our clubs website.
now that been said i would like to wish our players taking part in this weeks game the big v vs the dream team all the best hope they all get through unscaved would of preffered they werent in like (heater) heath shaw
(magic) leon davis (rocky) josh fraser and (pendals) scott pendalbury.but i reckon still like heater they probably feel honoured to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity to represent as in heaters,rocky's and pendals case the big v and for magic to represent the dream team.
looking forward too rnd.8 when we take on the saints at telstra dome hope we can re- focus our efforts towards september glory !!!!
