COLLINGWOOD FOR PREMIERS '08! How do u think our new draft picks will go? Have the small back line and rucking deficiencies from the 07 finals been addressed? The mighty pies are gonna give it a good crack this year. COME ON!

Hey Harley, i think we will be top 4 but im not sure on the flag. Cats r very good and i think the Saints may push pretty close if they stay injury free but thats a massive if.

I see u live in Adelaide like me so we have the SA Magpies supporters group that meet at the Brecknock Hotel on King Williams for all matches so give us a look or go to http://samagpies.magpies.net.au

I'm not sure Harley but I see you are from Adelaide. I made the trip over last year to see the Pies beat the Crows. Judging by the crowd and listening to the radio on the way home I have to say South Australians are the most feral and sorest losers I have ever witnessed! It was great to beat them!

Mate its not South Aussies as ive lived in both states and they are as bad as eachother. Crows fans are ****s, someone threw a meat pie at me once for cheering on the pies. Also at the 2002 Qualifying Final against Port some bloke walked up to me and said "You fking Eddie Lover" and proceeded to spit on me. Just letting u know when he walked pass after the final siren i patted him on the head and have fun in Brissie

I have to disagree with all of you cause I am a Magpie supporter living in W.A. and both Eagles and Dockers supporters would have to be the most feral biast dickheads I have ever come across! They have a real chip on their shoulders and always have this thing against anyone from the eastern states. The biggest highlight for me was at the Collingwood and Eagles final last year when it was a draw and they went into overtime, the abuse my friends ( who are eagles supporters ) and I received was disgusting. My friends saw first hand what I have to put up with being a magpies supporter in W.A. and were very suprised at how feral their supporters were. All I had to do was walk out with a big smile on my face and that was enough for me cause at the end of the day we won and they didnt. Suck **** Eagles!!!

Was a great game Hayley, one I won't forget for a damn long time. I was so stressed those dogs were going to beat us I nearly put my fist through the plasma screen. LOL It almost came close to the good feeling you get from defeating Carlton.

Gotta agree with you Hayley - that was the best game ever, to come over here with the poor history we have in WA and to beat those wankers and knock them out of the finals on their home soil was absolutely sensational and yes they have a massive chip on their shoulders and have no idea about the game... All Eagles supporters suck

Yeah as far as Perth supporters go I cant comment,I havent been to Perth let alone be to an AFL game there. I do agree that the win over West Coast Eagles in the semi in '07 was awesome especially with our record at subi! All I have to say is most teams that lose give the opposition ****...especially when they lose!! GO THE PIES!!

I have been to Sydney and to Perth for the Collingwood games there (am I am orginially from Perth now living in Melbourne) and I can say with certain, that Perth WCE supporters are one of the worst and biast supporter base I have come across, I havent been to Adelaide so I can not tell, but I completely agree with Hayley from Perth and that WCE have a BIG chip on their shoulders.

But I believe 2008 will be a big year for us! Can hardly wait!

hahaha so true Daniel, I just wish we had of beat adelaide in round 22, that loss cost me the tipping comp!! I made the trip over to melbourne for qualifying and prelim finals and had a ball. Ide rather drive 8/9 hours to the mcg than 10 mins down the road to AAMI Stadium anyday

I think the younger players will come on in force this year. There are alot of youngsters in the team and hopefully the guidance they have received from the older players will help them again this year
Tim (Magpies supporter), 10 Jan 2008 15:23hide comment
Issues appear to be addressed - Wood will be a starting 22 player, Jack anthony and Nathan Brown should come on being in their 3rd and 2nd years.
Just as long as we beat carlscum and essenscum i'll be happy
Steve (Magpies supporter), 10 Jan 2008 10:14hide comment
