I'm putting in my two cents here, I think they'd be mad not to give Dale Thomas a shot at the captaincy. He shows so much potential (reminds me of a young bucks in a lot of ways) hes not d*cking around like many of the other young boys in the league. For once a young kid who is responsible and showing real leadership qualities with the skills to match. 13 for captain.

I think Tarks is a good choice for our next captain. He still has a few years left to play, I don't think players like Daisy & Pendles need to extra pressure of the captaincy just yet. Let them properly establish themselves first.

yer he is probably going to retire this year or next.. so he is really only interim captain.. although he is definetly the best choice.. I think maltie should go out on a limb and give the job to a established youth player to help usher in the new generation of pies that is going to be there for the long run for 5-6 years.. Ideally this should Nick Maxwell, Pendulbury, Dale thomas.. Maybe fraser..

i think the best option short term wud definitely be josh or tarks...but i think in the long term pendles would prove to be much like buckley and be able to start young and lead the club for many many years to come!

My theory is that old mate Burnsy will probably pull the pin at the end of this season and if not then definately next. I think they ae just giving Dale Thomas another year or two of grooming and will then give him the nod.

It could have been Burnsy, Tarks and maybe Josh. Either Burns or Tarks are perfect at the moment. I think possibly Maxwell, Pendles or even Heath Shaw will replace Burns.

Maxwell will make a good Captain and Cloke may Surprise a few. But for now Burns is perfect

I think Tarks or Josh will take over once Burns retires.

Tarks has another 3 or more seasons as does Josh so age isnt a issue

Yeah its great for Burnsy. Scotty Pendles will take over if his form continues the way it's been going. His seen as a leader already
