We were robbed !! Adelaide were assisted by the umpires.
I cant believe the appalling decisions by those adelaide game umpires!! That free kick they paid against Fevola is one of the worst I have ever seen...

That clearly B grade umpire who tripped up Fevs n in the embarassment of it all 'forgot' the rule book swung the momentum of the game right around the Crows way. In saying that Rats shoulda pulled Stevens and Scotland from the ground with their disgusting disposals. All that topped with even more bad umpiring AND Fevs usual arrogance may well have cost the Blues the finals in what was looking like a brighter season ending for once.

You cant blame the umps, we lost the game ourselves we outplayer the crows for 3 quarters but couldnt get ontop of them. We fell asleep for 1 quarter and it cost us. The most fustrating thing was when Fev took the shot from 60 out. I was yelling "pass it at my tv" and when he kicked it into the mark i just lost it. He needed to center it and give Fish and Cloke a chance to mark inside 50 or atleast let of midfielders rove a goal.

we kicked five behinds in the last 10 minutes of the game... yet some people blame the umpires? that is such a collingwood thing to do.

Your right we lost it, Scotland was the main culprit. Umps were **** but both sides copped raw decisions. Plus why do hacks always kick goals against us? Moran will never do that agian I bet.

I agree about Moran... happens often that goals come from odd or new players against us!

I think the free kick tally for the game was 42-12 in favour of the crows. Thats appauling and the umpire who fev tripped over should be at least fined. If u were to reverse the situation and the player made contact or tripped up and umpire it would be the player who was fined, even suspended in some cases. In saying that blues should have won but didn't. Crows won't do anything if they make the finals soo yeah the end result for them doesn't matter a thing. Payback is a bitch Adelaide.

Why is it everytime we play Adelaide we have umpires making decisions that pretty much cost as the bl00dy game??!!!

That Free agaisnt Fevola was just a fkn joke not to mention some others that were just questionable! At the end of the day we missed some important shots in the last quarter, but things can be just a tad harder when little tools in yellow make very big decisions.

Mal from Melbourne (Blues supporter), 3 Aug 2008 8:43hide comment
Yeah they were pretty bad however we butchered the pill all day and paid the price. Worst thing it was mostly experienced players Stevens, Murphy and Scotland. Scotland missed two easy one's in the last and that killed our momentum. That trip on Fev however was a two goal turnaround.

In my view, decisions were made poorly against both teams. The thing that got me fuming was the umpire tripping up Fev on his way to a shot at goal and not calling the ball back. That was a disgrace.
Tarrant from Melbourne (Blues supporter), 2 Aug 2008 18:54hide comment
Agreed. That goal umpire who kept raising one finger for our scoring shots instead of two really killed us.

I'm fairly angry with Fev, when he took that wild shot from the boundary line. He should have turned inside and baulked around the only bloke against him. But generally speaking we played badly today, and had we won, we wouldn't have deserved it.

Those 6 points in the last quarter could have easily been goals, The team did well in spite of some of those bad decisions made, to come back. Whats with those crows, did the whole team visit the same hairdressing salon for those blonde tips!!!They look ridiculous..

agreed. usually when the umpires are bad, theyre bad to both teams but there were some shocking decisions at important times for us
