Go blues, I know they still have it in them to push for the finals. Adelaide next week isn't an impossible task so another 3 wins and we'd just about be in the finals for sure. Im loving the blues fightbacks this year. I would love to know how many wins we have this year from being behind at 3 quarter time? Im thinking its around 4-5 wins. Anyways soo many good signs for now and the future. Go blues lets finish off the season well.

Rd 4 vs Collingwood - about 5-6 goals up at 3QT
Rd 5 vs Melbourne - smashing them
Rd 7 vs Eagles - squandered HT lead, but led at 3QT
Rd 9 vs Freo - down by less than a goal at 3QT
Rd 11 vs Port - down by 38 in 3rd qtr, 30 at 3qt, won by 12
Rd 12 vs Collingwood - down by 4 goals in 3rd qtr - not sure exactly what it was at 3QT
Rd 13 vs Essendon - down by 4-5 goals at 3QT, fought back to hit the lead but ended up losing by 6 goals
Rd 14 vs Richmond - level or close to level at 3QT, won by 5 goals
Rd 15 vs St Kilda - same as Essendon, except never quite hit the front
Rd 17 vs Dogs - down by 37 points in 3rd qtr, 13 at 3qt, won by 28

During the 3rd quarter when i looked at the scorboard expecting to see us 40-50 points down but it was only 6 goals. I turned to my brother and said "Its not the big of a lead." Even in the 2nd when we were giving up goals we went playing so bad so i thought their was a chance but i didnt expect it as we were up against a good team.

65-point turnaround, and ultimately a 36-23 scoring shot victory. The defence was on fire - Thornton and Jamison particularly were spoiling everything that came their way, and T-Bird was great on rebound. Gibbs continues to look more poised than a man of his age has any right to be. Great to see Wiggins kick four (previous best was only two) and at least one or two assists in his hundredth. Despite 6.5, I think Fev has room for improvement - he needs to lead more, because he'll beat almost anyone when he does, as opposed to playing body-on-body where Lake was able to beat him. Kreuzer bounced back with lots of good work around the ground including three goals, which has seriously been lacking for a few weeks; together with Cloke, they at least shared honours with the Dogs, who have spent the year telling us what a fantastic pick-up Hudson was - he was okay, but hardly Coxeqsue. Marvellous to see Carrazzo get some time in the middle, and Eddie certainly injected some life when he went in there. It's a long time since we've beaten someone so high on the ladder (that time the top-placed Eagles came from behind to knock us off still haunts me).

Incidentally, I thought we were still in it at half time, because we were competing fine in the middle, but breaking down a half-forward as usual. There were times in the third quarter, however, when I thought we were gone - which is rare because I'm usually very optimistic.

Fantastic win, totally over the moon with that comeback against one of the best teams in the afl this season. The future looks very good for us with the young team finally starting to show what it's capable of.

Spot on mate... Was listening to it on ABC, the commentator said, "This must be one of the most ridiculous switch of fortunes we have ever seen in AFL"
