If we want to play finals for sure next year trade Cloke, pick up a decent ruckman maybe Brogan he hasn't signed with port yet develope Hampson and move Kruezer to the foward line

For his size he does an amazing job every week. Hes in career best form this year. I feel that what makes a great ruck is his around-the-ground work and not his tap work. Cox is the best at this and that is why he is the best. Sandilands is a waste around the ground hes only good in the hitout due to his size. Cloke averges 15 touches a game and 1 goal every 2 games. That is in the top 5 in those stats this year for a ruck behind Cox, Hille, White and Simmonds. The 2 games he missed this year it showd how much we needed his as Kruezer and Hampson both need to put on a big of weight and gain so experiance.

What about Kreuzer's ruckwork? Other than the final quarter against St Kilda, Cloke rucked much better than Kreuzer both weeks. People tend to ignore this fact. (Doesn't mean Kreuzer won't be a star of the future, but you can't go assigning Cloke the blame for the last couple of games when he was the best alternative). You should also notice that Cloke has been working harder around the ground than Kreuzer.

I agree with everything Kim says. He works his backside off. We need him in the ruck until two of Hampson, Jacobs and Kreuzer are ready to dominate. He works hard, and he provides an option up forward. And I doubt he's got much trade value.

I never thought I would be defending a Cloke but he tries his guts out week in week out. He is not playing in his right position and is outsized every week. But he never stops trying. Once Kreuzer or Hampsen step up maybe Cloke can play down forward. He might not have all the skills but I would take a bloke who tries his guts out every week for his team over a bloke with the skill who doesn't.
