a bit greedy....
fevola was offered a three year deal at $700.000 a year so 2.1 million till end of 2011, i think that is a fair deal. jonothan brown is on the same and i rate both players as the top two forwards in the comp (for accuracy) obviously buddy is a jet but he kicks a heap of shockers. what are ur views? should fev just except he has been offered a great deal or suck the life out of the club by being greedy and maybe jeopardising other future player contracts. we do have a salary cap and im not real keen on losing marc murphy or gibbs cause we cant afford him.

well if you were gonna ask me who I would rather, Brown or Fev, I would take Brown. He is much more of a team player and much more consistent.

I would prefer to have Jonathon Brown playing for us as well. I think he is a very focused player and hasnt been in any of the trouble that Fev has seen himself in over the past.

understandable, im not throwin a bone at fev i think he is great, i just think there is only so much juice in an orange and he's squeezed way over his limit. he is worth six hundred a year. seven hundred is a bit much cause he is still a liability who has played some freaky football in about five out of twelve games this year. it'd be alright if he showed up for everymatch. not just the big crowds, we need him when we play sydney in front of twenty thousand in four weeks.

He is just stringing the club along. As Steve said there's no rush. I think we have some pretty talented young players hwo have a few games under their belt and are really finding their place in the team. I would hate to have to see them leave the club because of the greed of one player.

same thing happened last time he was in negotiations. he will sign, there is no rush...

Fev should just show his support for the club and sign. His management team are just trying to squeeze every buck and that's their job. I reckon if he holds out too long the club may trade as last resort cause he has been a handful in the past. We will definately not lose Murph or Gibbs over Fev. I hope he does sign and have no doubt Greg Swan is doing everything cause if he doesn't he will be the big loser.

That's true Ryan and perhaps Fev needs to be a bit more appreciative of the club's patience with his past indescretions?

It would be interesting to know why he rejected the offer. I doubt it would be cos of the money. He has stated many times he wants a long term deal.
