carlton v essendon (our bench overload.......)
hard decisions, we have
adam bentick (tough as nails.)
mark austin (bog for ants last two weeks, been solid all year)
steven browne (again a potent gun who will fire if he make the final cut.) played well the in his limited chances this year.
shaun grigg (this guy has been a standout improver this year.)
shaun hampson (poor performance last week could see him dropped, has potential and height which are in his favour.)
darren pfeiffer (the kid can play, nice snap on goal four weeks ago, we can all remember im sure)
simon wiggins (gone up in my eyes the last four weeks playin a better team has helped bring the best out in wiggo, he is startin to play like a winner, not a loser like he has the past six years)
basically i'm so so excited to finally see a team that has depth and really pushing for the top 22. next week we will have andrew walker back in, he will walk straiight into the seniors. what next? anyone puts a foot wrong, see ya later, have a week or two with the ants and earn ur strips. go the mighty blues. enjoy boys and girls.

HERE WE COME!

Mate,
Umpiring was again fairly shocking on sunday.
i was dissapointed....don't they call deliberate anymore? i spotted at least 4 from bombers players, lucas on one occasion where he was facing the crowd and handpassed it right over the line!!

Murphy running in on goal stunned me as well, why didnt he just kick it.
Although i must say the fev is boiling hot right now, great shot from the boundary
time to move forward and hopefully get up against the tigers

Benticks in forever. Not even when Hadley returns will he be dropped. Since hes returned to the seniors this year he has been in our top 3 or 4 midfielders. Hes so tough and will never let anybody beat him.

Hes far to good to dump. The only way we'll go is if he suddenly starts playing poorly which i doubt. Hes worked to hard to get there in the first place.

Aussie misses out again, because there aren't any gaps in the backline to fill. Browne and Pfeiffer miss because Grigg and others have the experience. They'll persist with Hammer because he is the future of our ruck, Wiggo because we need the forwards, and Benchy because only Hadley's return could possibly put his spot in jeopardy.

Well, the word is that Austin is holding down CHB in the Ants. I know there's plenty of people who'd love to see him step into that role and free Waite to go forward - a manoeuvre which would likely push the spare ruckman out of the forwardline and lead to (most likely) hammo getting dropped. But Lucas would be a mightily difficult first-up role, which may scare them off that.

Hey you are spot on with what you have written. I can't wait for walker to come back into the seniors. He would bolster the team even more. I hope Armfield can keep playing well, hes got some pace which is very handy especially against the bombers. I think Cloke and Kruezer should beat Hille and Laycock so dropping Hampson for Pfeiffer or Browne wouldn't be a bad idea. Anyway im sure Ratts has already got it worked out and our matchups are far better this time than they were in round 3. Stop Lloyd and Lucas and u stop essendon. Btw Blues 4th quarter last week was the best quarter they have played all year. Go blueys.
