finally some depth........................!
finally our team is getting some depth, if anyone has noticed. last weekend we had a great team no real weakness, we even had steven browne, (great over the past three weeks), darren pfeiffer (mike and dans play of the week four weeks ago) getting better. jake edwards (heaps of grunt, kid can play.) all playin reserves with a few others pushin for selection. it hurt a bit with bower being out for another six weeks with the shoulder injury, but next weekend we get back walker who is an absolute star. watch the kid go, apparently he's been trainin like a gem. oh and one of the keys behind our last two great weeks has definitaly been fitness. out run the other teams, judd and murphy are so fit right now.! keep it up boys. if uve got someone in the team u'd like to give a rap for the way they have been playin write in a give them a boost!!!!!

How good was Armfield gettin cleaned up by that dog Maxwell (he looks like a nuffer) he never took eyes off the ball and got straight back up. Pity we didn't finish with a goal. One to watch is Blackwell he has played last two games in VFL and killed it. Shaun Grigg has been the real surprise he looked slow last year but is growing every week

I'm glad Benchy is getting the plaudits at last, because I've been a fan for a while. I'm thoroughly pleased with Carlos' poise when he gets the ball in the back-line.

Word is that Mark Austin has put in a couple of BOG performances for the Ants since they switched him from full back to CHB.

Adam Bentick is the toughest player in the team. He leads the league in tackles per game and will never give up. The obvious strength of the team is the depth we have in the midfield. He have alot of players that can go foward and back with Walker, Hadley and Houlihan still to return. But still you cant go fast Bentick for toughness in the midle

Bryce Gibbs is starting to show why he was the number 1 pick, ive heard lots of people (including carlton supporters) get on his back about how he's not living up to his status as the number 1 pick but he's shut down chad cornes and now heath shaw in 2 successive weeks while also getting some of the ball himself, he's already starting to look like a gun. also marc murphy showed on the weekend why he was the number 1 pick instead of dale thomas who did nothing for his team while murphy was best on

Fev and Scotland have really stepped up and started to carry themselves more like senior players by taking leadership roles,
for example look at fev at 3/4 time on sunday.....? Scotland is improving each week as a senior player and is a good role model to the younger blokes...... It's been said for years that once our young guns get some experience/confidence we'll be a force to be reckoned with..... Slowly but surely it has happened and we continue to improve and gain more and more confidence each week, I honestly believe that if we continue in this fashion we are serious finals contenders and may even cause a few upsets......
THE BLUES ARE BACK
