we should be nine wins six loses by round fifteen.
essendon, richmond, st kilda are the next three weeks. we should win these games if we play like we have the last two weeks. we will have a big test when we play against sydney round sixteen but hopefully we have grown a bit more by then. anyone agree the next three weeks should be wins?

We should not have lost to Richmond and Essendon anyway in first place. We would have had 32 points and in a very comfortable position to go to the finals.

I feel that we have a really good chance to beat the saints. If you ask me they are the worst team in the league. Their players have no confidence and everything seems to be getting worse. Alteast Melbourne and other bottom teams are playing like they have confidence and feel they can win. Sainst are no hopers.

Yeah, we do struggle against them. But usually this has been because their midfield has been the league's best, and our ruckmen have been the league's worst. We should be getting towards a stage where we can beat them.

Yes, the St.Kilda history with us certainly runs deep. A lowly St.Kilda and Lowly Sydney were the only two teams to beat us in '95 and the Saints have been our bogey since! We owe them pay time thats for sure but they will battle us!

Don't forget we always have a habit of running st.kilda into form

I think it would be more reasonable to say we "could" be 9-6 by Rd 15, but we "should" be at least 8-7. They're certainly all winnable games, but we not Geelong, and there are definitely no certain victories. But on our form and the form of these teams, we should be capable of winning at least two, and I will be disappointed if we can't.

Look in all honesty i truely belive carlon can win the next three no doubt. Infact there has been a couple of games we have lost that we should of won. The fact that the next three are at the 'G' is even better. We all know that the dome is our worst enemy, we just cant really win there. I think last time we did was against port last season?? not suree?

However guys, lets not shoot the gun to early. we are going to play teams that bet us at the start of the year and the pressure is now really on for the Blues.

I have no doubt that we can do it! I have no doubt that the Blues can stay in the top 8 till the end of the season. But on the other hand we shouldnt get to carried away, like they say 'take it week by week'.

I agree about Telstra dome... have never seen us play great footy there. Maybe a couple of scrappy wins, buty plenty of heavy losses.... give us the MCG any day!

we need to remember that we haven't exactly beaten quality sides... we can win the next 3 weeks, but after that it is going to get really tough!

The other thing is, after bombers, tigers and saints, our run home gets a fair bit harder with games against the likes of sydney, the bulldogs and hawthorn towards the end of the season
Tim from Burwood East (Blues supporter), 16 Jun 2008 17:56 hide comment
the next three weeks could very well be wins but let's not get ahead of ourselves - we lost to each of those teams earlier in the year and although the boys have grown as a side since, i wouldn't pencil them in as wins yet, we should start favourites for at least 2 of them and the way we are playing we would beat all three of them at the moment but we need to continue the way we are playing to win those three games. If we continue to play the way we are, then these games could prove crucial in being percentage boosters for later on if we make the final 8.
