I secretly have a second fav team when the Blues ain't playing..
ok, ok! I love the Blues! Proud member and i have always stand by them throughout the good times and the bad times and i'll always will, LOve Em!.

However i have to admit i secretly go for North Melbourne when Carlton ain't playing i have a soft side for them and always happy for them when they win (except when they play against the Blues ofcourse). This dosen't mean Blue blood dosen't run through my vains!lol

Does anyone here have a soft side for another team? If so who? and why? and does it mean i'm a bad Carlon supporter? Discuss.

Any team that can beat Collingwood in 2 Grand Finals and Essendon in 1 would have to rate well ..... I refer of coarse to Bris Lions

i love carlton and nearly everyone on my dads side of the family go for carlton as he is the oldest and went for carlton because thats where he was born and me and my brother and my dad made a deal that my newest brother would go for carlton and not collingwood which is who his mum goes for (even though my dad used the collingwood flag for the dogs bed) and he never ever goes to sleep if carlton is playing and he is only 10 months old. how awesum is he i love him so much... my aunty in london stays up until like 6 oclock just to watch carlton play as well and she is there for work for the rest of the year so whenever i go to a carlton match i take photos because thats what she did whenever we went with her and my other aunt... GO THE BLUES I LOVE THE BLUES AND ONLY THE BLUES when talking AFL

I must admit, as hard as it is to admit, i too have a real soft spot for another team.
Last year, there was a real posibility of our team folding quicker than a bad round of poker. I seriously went through some soul-searching and realised that it might be a good thing to have a back-up team. I have always had a respect for the Western Bulldogs, (or Footscray to the purists!). Their supporters are a bit ferral, but the team always has a solid go, and live up to their name by being "dogged" at the ball. My Dad went through the heart-wrenching bust-up of Fitzroy. He had been in Australia since the late sixties and had never seen his adopted team win a premiership. His support followed the Lions to Brisbane, where he has now enjoyed the privelige of three straight premierships. So, at the moment, while the Blues are playing like a bunch of girls and my alternate team crunched the Hawks in Launceston....

Go Doggies!

P.s: I'm going to Telstra Dome on Sunday, and i can't wait to see the Dogs smash the Saints. I plan on losing my voice. Woof Woof!

That's ok. Just as long as it isn't Essendon, Richmond or even worse Collingwood.

i actually enjoyed watchin geelong win last year. i mean the poor buggers haven't had anything to celebrate for forty years. they have to be the most unselfish team in the comp. they would be my second fav.
Timuçin (Blues supporter), 12 May 2008 21:07hide comment
It used to be Fitzroy but since they are not around anymore it would be any other team as long it is a Melbourne based team and it is not the scum or the filth.
