Just get Ben Cousins down there so we can start up the Wall of Blame, ohh sorry The Hustlers league.

Why do most Carlton supporters delude themselves?

If we are crap why not state it, we played poorly and won so lets admit it.

A more appropriate name for us is The Carltankers. When we admit it and move on we will be better for it!

We can't play like that against Adelaide or a decent team, so I hope we can refocus. I am glad we have got Judd, but he isn't the only player on the team, I actually believe that Scotland was best on ground yesterday, Waite was awesome, Jamison played well (our defense was really good).. fev was awesome with 7 straight. We played a very scrappy game of football, it didn't help with the numbers melbourne had dropping into our forward line.
But GO BLUES! Love seeing another 4 points on the board.

I would have liked to have seen us attempt to beat the flood by kicking wide to the pockets for inside-50s, rather than dance around half-forward. if we could have forced some close boundary throw-ins, our clearances were sufficiently dominant that goals would have resulted. The way we played just led to turnovers, which remain the thing which tends to kill us the most.

Yeah but we often did kick it wide in the 50 and it didn't work, so... we took to long to make decisions and as you said too many turnovers.

Yeah both teams didnt play the best. Well Melb is just crap, Carlton should of done much better and that last quarter was a bit of a dissapoinment. But at the end of the day a win is a win and i truely can't remember last time we won two in arrow. We have adelaide this week and i was watching a bit of that game agaisnt Freo and they played well. If carlton wins this, pwoaaaaah i reckon i'll be in tears!LOL..

We won two in a row (Dogs and Power) immediately before the 14-game losing streak. People keep acting as if it's been years since we've won back-to-back games.

Both teams played crap. But at least we played crap and won at the same time for a change. Judd and Fev made the difference. Also about the 4th quarter slow down. I think the boys were starting to think about the next game. Lets face it we still cannot play 4 qtr footy.

We were great for 10 minutes after the player tussle. Other than that it was a toss up on the poor skill level, Melbourne's poor shots at goal kept us in front... Hopefully last weeks performance wasn't a one off. But hey, a wins a win
Tarrant from Melbourne (Blues supporter), 20 Apr 2008 19:32 hide comment
Thank God it was either. We weren't very good today, but Melbourne couldn't win its way out of a wet paper bag. Give them the ball and they will search for a way to turn it over.
