Upcomimg Games For Calrton. Can we do it?
Yesterdays win was Fantastic! For the first time since round 11 last year i got to hear and sing the Carlton song after the final siren, not before the start of a game as our players run through the banner.

Carlton played well in all 4 quarters, kept their cool and where able to handle the ball well. Waite, Fev, Murph,, Jamison, Bower, Gibbs, Thornton, Judd, Carrazo were just amazing and showed to everyone that this Carlton team will soon be Unstoppable!

I know it was our 1st win and we should take it one week at a time but the next
Few weeks look promising if we can perform as we did yesterday:

Round 5: Melbourne (MCG)
Round 6: Adelaide (MCG)
Round 7: West Coast (Subiaco)
Round 8: Brisbane (Dome)
Round 9: Fremantle (Dome)

Carlton should be able to go in strongly this week and should be able to beat Melbourne, if this isn’t the case then I think we got ourselves some problems
Again. Adelaide will be a tough one, but I think if we still have the winning
Momentum we can just hit home and grab ourselves 4 points, plus its at the
G and Carlton play’s fantastic there.

The West Coast game will be like the much-anticipated game when Aker played
Against his former Brisbane team last year. Eagles are not travelling so well
And like the Blues they also have only 4 points. Good players missing and I
Believe the blues may be able to do it, especially with Juddy playing up against
His former team mates.

Brisbane Game will be interesting and anything can happen and once again
Our record at The Dome isn’t the best. As for Freo if the Tigers can thrash
Them in their home ground, then I can’t see why the Blue Boys are not able
To do the same.

If everything goes our way and win at least 3 or 4 out of the next 5 matches, anything can happen! It will surely shut the mouth of those people who have been giving us sh*t for a while. Can we do it? I bloody
think we can!!!! GO BLUES!

Should win: Melb

Adelaide = Show where we are at
West coast = major challenge
brisbane = test our fitness, be a big challenge for defensive game
Freo: should win going on current 'form'..

I agree Andrew. The game against the crows will certainly show where we are at; It'll be an interesting battle in the midfield and along half back

We should be reaching 16 points by the end of Round 9.We will beat Freo, Demons and Brisbane. An Adelaide victory will not suprise me either.

I am so looking forward to this weekend. But Melbounre is a game they could lose as we have seen a number of times in the past. As long as they take in the same hunger for the ball as they will flogg em.
Adelaide won't be pretty. Their defense is too good and their forward line is to potent. If they win it will be with pressure and run through the corridor and great delivery to Fev or Waite.
West Coast will be too good at Subi. There will be fire as it is Judd's first game against the Eagel's but they are still too good.
Brisbane at the Dome...well anything is possible. Shutting down Brown and Bradshaw will be tough and Judd v Black will be a great match up.
Dockers at the Dome could be a goer because Dockers get very complacent against teams they should beat.
I think best case scenario after round 9 will be 4-5 worst case will be 2-7

We will beat Melbourne. They look like they have no confidencence in each other and there is holes all over there team. Adelaide and Brissy will be close but i think they are just to much for us. I wouldn't put money on us to beat West Coast. They want to hurt Judd and if they are fully fit they are still a better team than us at the moment. As for Freo they way they are playing I cant see why we cant beat them.

Melbourne were truly incompetant on Saturday, and to lose to them would be crushing. I still expect the second half of the year, when everyone is fit and have been playing Ratts' gameplan to be when we win half of our games.
