RE: Chris Judd
I agree to everyone that thinks Chris Judd should not have come over from perth and straight into the big job. I feel Nick Stevens should have got it, and you could see the disappointment in his face. I really feel for him, then in saying that the younger boys will look up to Chris and we do need that electric spark in our side and Chris does give us that. We would not turn away from Juddy as he gives us what fevola doesn't but should, when fevola is on target he is electrifing, but we need someone like that at all times not when we are just winning, we need that spark so lets get behind Judd and welcome him to carlton and lets say COME ON BLUE BOYS, LETS SHOW US THAT SPARK AND MAKE US QUIVER MAKE US CRY WITH JOY AND LETS SHOW THE OTHER 15 TEAMS WE ARE COMING. WATCH OUT!!!! AND ALSO GO RATS, CONGRATS.....

Simmo deserved the captaincy over Puss. Watch a training session or game and learn why. Selecting Puss is equally arbitrary as selecting Judd.

Yeah I agree with everyone on here, but is it just me or should Fev pull up his BLOODY socks!!! For someone who is getting paid the big bucks, he played like **** last night and no excuses about getting drunk this past week and peeing on the restaurant. Sick of hearing it! Lift your game mate, Poor Juddy is prob thinking what I got myself into here. Last nights game he was pretty much a one man team, first he is in the md fied and then the last quarter he is kicking to Fev. Where was everyone else. Get your act together! Its a sad day when you cant even beat bloody Richmond!!

We lack strong leadership in the forward-line. Fev can be a leader when things are going our way, but his leadership tends to run hot or cold with the team's performances. Unfortunately, Betts and Edwards are confidence players also; we really need a forward-line leader to galvanize these guys. These reasons alone are enough to consider leaving Houlihan forward permanently.

What Houlihan; has the world gone crazy.

Houlihan has good skills, but come on he doesn't have the stomache to be a leader.

Waite just needs to get his act together, he is our other hope up forward in the future, hopefully soon.

Come on Blues supporters, we dont want to end up like Richmond, defending a wood duck like Richo.

Why does everyone feel sorry for Nick Stevens; Stevens does not deserve the job he is not a leader he does not lead by example; he has poor disposal selection and possibly ability, and secondly he is a reciever which is ok but not as captain. Blues supporters watch the game, and get real. Marc Murphy should be the next captain in training.

We should just tank another 5 years continually running and add titled "Captaincy position available", the only skills needed outside of playing football would be knowing how to pavk a grocery bag. We could secure the players with either #1 or #2 draft picks each year.

What do you recon?

Seeing how Judd goes about his footy (I know it was only a practice match against the dogs but...) I think he is a great choice as walk in captain. He is every bit the footballer that other players should aspire to be. He also comes without the controversy of many players.
