Princes Park - The home of the Carlton Football Club
It is a sad day when our home ground is to be taken down.

It is sad that all the history will be gone. The greatest ground, best playing ground.

The first game my little girl went to, the first footy game i went to back in 1974 as i just came from England as a 9 year old.

I have been a CARLTON supporter from that day on. I joined the army did 15 years in that time i still went to CARLTON games. Left the army, my wife and then my daughter went to all games last year.

I rejoined the army and I am sad to say this will be the first time I will not be going to any games because I am on deployment overseas but my wife and daughter will take my place.

I will miss PRINCES PARK.

I'd rather the tear down the Legends Stand. Had they built a stand with a half-decent view, they might still have been playing low-crowd games there.

Isn't it just two stands being demolished?

Yeah well, I'm young so I dont know as much history as what some of you do haha.
But it's not being used anymore, so why not? Use the space for more facilities for the boys.
They did it to Waverly.

if the training facility that they will build is as good as they say it will be then it will just make us a better team. Im for it.
