No chance. the reason why we've been bottom of the ladder for the past 6 years was the salary cap. Fevola, Judd and Stevens don't come cheap.  more

I reckon Jamieson is probably is most important young player on our list. Reasons Marc Murphy will be a gun but just another midfielder Gibbs will be solid 100 plus player for club but in what role Kreuzer main challenger to Jamieson for this mantke Russell?  more

finally our team is getting some depth, if anyone has noticed. last weekend we had a great team no real weakness, we even had steven browne, (great over the past three weeks), darren pfeiffer (mike and dans play of the week four weeks ago) getting better.  more

I was listening to SEN this morning and apparently Kerr has put his contract with the Eagles on hold and apparently has been in talks with a Melbourne Club and it is believed to be Carlton.  more

essendon, richmond, st kilda are the next three weeks. we should win these games if we play like we have the last two weeks. we will have a big test when we play against sydney round sixteen but hopefully we have grown a bit more by then.  more

Post game on 3AW talkback pies supporters were complaining that the umpires cost them the game. They were 2nd to the ball giving away obvious free kicks instead of winning the ball themselves.  more

Today the boys showed just how dangerous we can be and after the win last week in Adelaide we can make it 3 in a row or even 4 or 5 with Essendon next week and then Richmond and St Kilda.  more

54-point turnaround. 54 points to Fevola. Won the stoppages, won in the ruck, beat them in defence. And, all round, would have been very entertaining for impartial observers.  more

Its half way through the year and its time for the mid season report. Overall: A huge success. If somebody had said tome at the begging of the year that we would be 2 points and percentage out of the eight I would have told them they are dreaming.  more
