Top 8 this year? what spot do you reckon the lions will reach?
Bradshaws back in town to help browny out. Johnstone is in as well as couple of VERY promising youngsters. I think top 8 is a realistic goal but where in the 8?

i think if we had our best team most of the season we could finish top 4. but cos of injuries and stuff like that i think we will finish 6th. and to mark: that game when we belted the pies was awesome but pretty boring we were so dominating the pies couldn't compete

I have to say with the injuries we have to our better players, i think we might scrape into 7th or 8th

I am not too sure about a top 8 position. The pre-season has been disappointing, but you can not really tell by this I suppose. Also a lot of the best players have not played yet.

Who hasn't played? For Brizzy I thought pretty much all the top 22 played by the final pre-comp game.

It is difficult to predict these things. I think we'd all feel disappointed if they don't make the 8... but right now I'm just hoping they can get back to playing competitive (and exciting) games!

I agree! Finals footy this year without question... I'm not at all concerned about pre-season, and I too agree with Matthew. Mitch Clark will definitely be one to watch this year....

We are a chance for the top 4 given our second half of last season. Our best game was against Collingwood @ the 'G when we won by 93 points and the 'Pies are a very good side.

I agree with Matthew re: Matthew Leuenberger and Mitch Clark helping out Jonathan Brown and Daniel Bradshaw.

Jed Adcock is a very good midfielder and will only get better and Travis Johnstone could be the recruit of the year.

6-8th. Our youngsters have really developed and players like leunberger and mitch clark can push forward and help out Browny and Bradshaw. Add one of the best midfields in the comp, we should be back to finals footy !!
