Just looking at the other thread for the top 5 players - often hard 'cause you want to pick wth your heart as well as your head. You can respect a players brilliance but not see him as one of your faves, some one you take a special interest in. The characters aren't always the best but often you favourite. Who do you pick as someone who captured your attention and enthusiasm?
1. Bassett for his tantrums and going where angels fear to tread
2. Mattner for his gorgoeus runs from the backline (even though they often ended in disaster)
3. A. Jarman for being A Jarman
4. Smart for being the thinking woman's footballer
5. Hart for being the skinny bloke who looked like he'd snap like a twig but just kept beating the big guys
6. Bode for his never say die attitude
- special mention to Kane Johnson's legs and Mattner and Stenglein's cheekbones... I gotta be a little girly at some point
