Have the players we traded had a impact at their new clubs?
The crows have traded many players to other clubs over the years. Some of these include: Chalmers, Dave Brown, Fergus Watts, Stenglien, Johnson, Chris groom, Welsh, Hudson, Meeson and mattner are just a few that i can think of at this time. Some that was touted as future stars didn't make it at their new club like watts who only lasted two or three years, was regarded as a star forward in the making. He should have stayed and might have been a player.
In my opinion players like johnson and stenglien havent been the players they were at Adelaide. So what happened to them? Meeson where is his football at at the moment?
On the other hand players that was traded or delisted in the case of welsh have flourished at their new club! Welsh has kicked goals_ have we missed him? Hudson been very good in the ruck...though if we kept him maric, griffen and tippetts development would have been delayed. Pieffer who was delisted has been handy for the blues. The one player though who has really blossomed is Mattner. He has been superb. He is the one player at the crows that could tackle and do many of them! He also broke the lines. Yes he got caught a few times but was a good player. To me this was the worst mistake the crows made...not welsh or hudson!

Your thoughts....did the crows make the right decisions or not?
Discuss it all.

MATTNER WAS 1 OF MY FAVOURITE PLAYERS,WHEN HE WAS PLAYED ON THE WING. HE ISNT A BACK POCKET PLAYER WHERE THE CROWS PLAYED HIM! HIS TACKLING & LONG LEFT FOOT HAS BEEN MISSED. GLAD HE IS DOING WELL AT THE SWANS.HE DID THE LITTLE 1% LIKE BICKLEY USE TO DO EG. TACKLE & SMOTHERING.THE BACK POCKET WASNT SUITED TO HIM,HE NEEDED SPACE TO RUN & THATS WHEN HE WAS DAMAGING.
