poor effort by the crows
Poor goal kicking 5 g and 17 points. This an issue that the crows have had for a while even when we were winning games every season. Now it has come back to haunt the club.

Crows need a natural goal kicker like Modra was not these modern athletic talls that can run but can't kick thats in the AFL now days.

Also, the Crows need a indigenous crumbing forward like Davey or Wonaeamerri, Cam or Matt stokes, Thomas or Matt Campbell. We could have rookie listed these but once again passed up on the opportunity.

Every team has one but the crows. I am yet to be convinced about Jacky or Petrenko that they are that sort of player that Craig claims they are.

The crows passed on Marlon Motlop ... why? I may seem over the top here but apart from Gohncock and McLeod, the rest don't seem up to scratch.

One player I would like to see the crows go after is Wade Thompson/Charlie Sharples from North Adelaide ... a real excitement machine that truely is a pacy small forward.

good comments people. goal kicking needs improving, we seem to let our opponets go get the hardball first (why i dont know) and we cant tackle properly. when we do we shaked off like a rag doll. are we strong enough why dont we pin the arms so they cant get a handpass out?

I know we won but there is something wrong with basics that are fundamental to winning.

i totally agree that our goal kicking isnt up to scratch... even players like goodwin and burton missed some getable goals friday night. Tippet is a great player but hes not winning the one on one contests deep in the fifty, i think he needs to lead out more

also we seem to be fumbling the ball a lot which is costing us in the centre i dont know if that was just the conditions friday night? I was really disappointed with the match on friday i think we could have done a lot better but i am liking maric at the moment i think he is improving every week im glad craigy gave him a chance

bit rough on tippett i reckon!
dustin fletcher played on him or most of friday night and he's one of the best defenders in the competition, versus a first year player!
he does need to lead more though..

no i totally love tippet dont get me wrong... but i wasnt just talking about this week either... hes obviously going to be a gun 1 day he just has a bit to improve on

Very poor effort from the crows these past two weeks. What is it now- 13.36 in the past two matches? If we continue to play like this, we could be in big trouble. Hopefully Burton won't be reprimanded this week.

and now 9 goal 20 points against the bombers!

its a disgrace that really needs improvement. we dominated the whole match against the bombers and were lucky to walk away with 4 points

What the hell happened on the weekend?! Did we forget to actaully play footy? We are 4th on the ladder so should have had a great win......put this one down to a really bad week that we should forget...?
