re Gill and injury in the long run itll probably cost him a Crows position..imagine relying on Gill and he breaks down semi finals..

Speaking of Nic Gill apparently hes had one run with North..so hes on the way back pity 4 Kenny seems WWT will see a fair amount of him this year

your spot on Robert! Especially if eagles want to play him down back. he is out of favour. Crows have a plorethra of backman so his pot is not down there. crows want speed and agility out of there unfortunately kenny is not these. For me gill is an exciting option and has a huge motor that works all day! Gill has versatility where he can play wing, half forward and full forward. Gill is quick and agile and can take a speccy or pack mark. Ken has only one or two positions that he could play- prob full forward or CHB.

The only question mark is gills goal kicking...if he can kick straight he a huge asset. He would also be hard to match up on. good groung level (i think) and in the air! Another question mark is he seems injury prone and misses whole chunks of seasons.

Ken Mcgregor is good but he is not quick or agile enough for the backline. His forwardline pressure needs to improve. There is simply not enough room down back while bock and rutten in all australian form. In the forward line burton, tiipett goodwin doing a job.Gill would come straight into the team before long as lead up roaming forward.

Reserves last week end Jared first game back in best players Trent Hentschel also played some of the game at half back...good Crows sign for both...Rowdy I'd suggest 203 weeks away from a comeback at AFL level Jared..needs a few & to find a spot..Kenny Mc on the other hand.mmm where 2 play him is a ?

Dave Ron Fullers been playin Jared like he did Stokesy whom the Crows shuda grabbed imho but Jareds more a Hohncock defender but faster on the track than Jaryn Jacky...u know how Andrew makes position and run the lines to me thats Jareds strength but aint seen a lot of him forward so cant comment

thanks. So he a defender and plays midfield. Nice! could use a indigenous player through there. I a agree crows should have recruited stokes when they had the chance. He looks a beauty as crumbing forward i wonder why the crows didn't pick him up? I think they were thinking of it. I think the crows picked porplyzia in the preason draft same year stokes went in the main draft. The crows could have picked up pearce as well but opted for Ryan Nye, who only lasted one year on the rookie list a couple years ago.

Keep up the good comments. Cheers Robert.

Pearce to me was iffy...fast but light weight..Matty Stokes was in the same house as Rowdy Trent Hentschel did a pre season with the Crows I saw Stokesy for WWT kick 5 + and play more than half thegame in the backlines
but Geelong saw it same with Enright he comes from Kimba on the West Coast straight to Geelong...my mates son Jenner plays for Port Maggies Im trying to get him to WWT for 09 ...hes white tho ..solid goal kicking centre player...re Nye Norwood placed players dont seem as likely to suceed Messon for eg...see Kenny Mc is placed in the back pocket against Centrals Sat night ...twill be interesting thatgame...

Thanks Robert i will! Can you tell me what sort of player he is? It just says he can play midfield and defence. Can he play in attack effectively and look dangerous as well?? Is he quicker than players like mcloud or johncock?

In an interview on youtube he said he played his junior footy in the midfield and occasionally down back and used his best asset- his pace.

He injured. Hes another indigenous player that i love. Iam a woodville-west torrens eagles supporter and i can't wait to see what he can do! I hope he has an absolute impressive season and gets elevated to the senior squad. THE CROWS NEED MORE INDIGENOUS PLAYERS ON THEIR SQUAD . HE COULD BE IT!
