I wasn't really too impressed with the Port tactics but I was proud of the boys for being hard at the ball (instead of the man) and getting the win.

Certainly wasn't dirty filth, and rightfully there were no charges to answer, thank them for hitting us with everything they could muster yet we prevailed!!

Everything that has been needed for the club going forward is coming up roses right now, lets hope we can maintain it!!

Big oppurtunity this week to really start the season with a bang, I think we may be on our knees a fraction with the hard game and a couple of injuries but I reckon Hawthorn might be ripe for the picking this week. 2nd week after travel to the West can often leave a team feeling flat!!

Matt Thomas can that bloke tackle. In years gone by that would have been the perfect hard tackle that every coach loves. It was very similar to the tackle he layed on Hentschel. The only problem with it was he was going to ride Bassett into the ground from the motion of going 4wd. Bogan oops i mean Brogan's hit on Jericho was late & off the ball,yeh fair enuf it was a hip n shoulder but gotta protect the player. Chad Cornes we got the 4 points so stick that up ya arse & do ya little dance ya fairy! Shaun Burgoyne will win a Brownlow reminds me of Simon Goodwin the way he moves. Sweet Victory
