Time for Jericho, it's now or never, but ...
Jericho played really well against the Eagles, it'll be interesting to see how he stands up against the Power. But dont be surprised to see him dropped in a couple of rounds for Henschell once the injury clears, it will either be Jeri or Mackay out!

I just don't know about Jericho, he doesn't seem to go in hard enough for the ball. Hes a bit flukey at times and did kick the 5 recent goals against Essendon...but just lacks consistency at times and goes missing a bit. And he wasn't that great last week. For a 23 year old..he should be much better!
Oh and isn't it a shame whats happened to Kenny McGregor recently..he used to be such a good player.

5 against richmond you will find i think. I wouldn't blame him for the efforts of the crows especially the delivery into the forward line. jericho has huge talent though might waste it at times.

In regards to kenny...i agree but i think its time to let go as two average seasons is not good. 1 year left on contract. he might be around next year. the game has gone past him.

McGregor apparently played a pretty good game in the SANFL last weekend. Got something like 22 disposals. He just doesn't look like he's able to carry that form over to the AFL.

yeah..Kenny was quite good a couple of year back...sadly I think your right(unless of course hes carrying an injury..?)
It looks like the games getting around from Nathan Basset as well (another past great!)

Seems like he's been on the list forever but gee, is he only 23? Certainly has pretty good skills but like everyone says, he just needs to go harder at the ball.

He drops off of players a bit ive noticed so he is lucky to still be getting a run.

Interesting to see that Jericho starts in the forward line this week (probably justified) with Knights, Shirley and Mackay listed as starting on the bench.

He's such a mixed bag its hard to know what you're going to get, but he works really hard at training - probably one of the reasons he's still on the list.

I agree. He just needs some game time to mature learn to read the play and how to use his speed to advantage. love watching him hassling the opposition backs, he doesn't often tackle just zones and makes them double guess.

making opportunities he recieves count. can play forward or wing. He has flair and speed and thats what crows need. I thought he might get more game time with welsh gone because they were seen as similar players. Now he is seen as a similar player to burton. These comparisons are hurting his chances to be in the side.

I agree talent potential but he either gets injured when he plays a good game or gets dropped. He needs to string some games together. I think this year is a make or break year unfortunately! Him on the wing looks good!

It makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes with Jericho. He seems to play well when he gets a game but then gets dropped. There must be a lack of application, bad attitude or something that we don't know about.

I agree David, Roo shouldn't have played that last game against the Hawks. I do wonder what the outcome could've been if Jericho or someone else had played.

True Sitha thats what I like about him too his name, yes he has talent but, I would give him the fact he could out do Mackay and Doughty, not Douglas or Vince, and dont be surprised if Henschell doesnt play very well for the first few matches, they usually dont after injury, so I think he should be in the SAFL for a week or 2 first that would get him game ready

Jericho's problem is he has too much competition as a roving forward, when you've got Porplyzia playing as well as he is, Bernie Vince, Kurt Tippett getting better and better, Ken Mcgregor trying to hang on to his spot, which I dont know why he is in the side?

Brett Burton who should be like Mcloed, a half back flanker who runs forward, and now Goodwin showing he can certainly do more than just rack up possies and kick the odd goal here and there, and Henschell coming back.

Then you've got our midfield, Knights, Thomson, Reilly, Mackay, Van Berlo etc. Jericho's main spot on the ground is the bench, plus we also have players trying to get in who have talent, Sellars and Bryce Campbell for example.

But Jericho would have to really make a difference or our selectors would have to see something in how he plays in the SAFL to want him back!

Our best delisting by far was Ian Perrie, man he annoyed the crap out of me, when he comes out and kicks 5 goals one game then the odd one or 2 here and there, and his in-accuacy in front of goal and passing was radiculous, even worse under pressure!

The guy we should never have gotten rid of is Bode, sure injuries and so forth, but was a good player, exciting to watch and always found a way to get into the matches, he was kinda our version of either the Pies Alan Didak or the Swans Nick Davis!

Even the Pies Leon Davis, he was fast, got good possesions and kicked goals, I miss Bodey, he was one of my faves but when I heard he'd been delisted in the preseason I felt so sad for him.

Now I am sticking with Porp as my fave. But sorry for my rambling, and sorry but I think the bench is the only place for Jericho, if he's lucky in my book!!!

jerichos got talent, i dare say, its gonna be tough for him to string 10 - 15 games togeher though, we got the likes of Knights and Reilly, shirley and henschel coming back in coming weeks. I say he has about 5 weeks to out perform guys like mackay, vince and douglas for a spot on the team. Good luck to him cuz i really like the name jericho lol
